Preamble

HearthStone exists as the foundational formation and stability domain within There and Back Advisory. It strengthens stewards, households, ministries, and teams by building clarity, restoring order, and establishing durable rhythms of life and responsibility. This charter defines HearthStone’s identity, mission, structure, and commitments so that its work remains aligned with the covenantal architecture of the There and Back ecosystem.

Mission

HearthStone forms and strengthens the outer steward—the person in their roles, responsibilities, systems, and daily patterns—through advisory formation, structural clarity, and practical support.

Its mission is to provide:

  • Clarity in roles, responsibilities, and expectations
  • Stability through systems, rhythms, and sustainable practices
  • Formation that strengthens the steward’s craft and identity
  • Support that is practical, relational, and covenant‑aligned

HearthStone ensures that every steward can stand, act, and build with confidence.

Identity and Role

HearthStone is the foundational advisory domain of There and Back Advisory.
It is not counseling, coaching, or mentorship.
It is advisory formation—the strengthening of the steward through clarity, structure, and covenantal alignment.

HearthStone operates through three integrated offerings:

  1. HearthStone Directional Assistance Advisory
Provides guidance, evaluation, and structured decision pathways.
  2. HearthStone Foundational Formation Advisory
Forms the steward’s systems, responsibilities, rhythms, and practical frameworks.
  3. HearthStone Resource Center
Supplies tools, templates, guides, and structured resources that support ongoing stewardship.

All three offerings operate through the RAPTA framework, ensuring consistency, clarity, and formation‑driven progression.

Values

HearthStone is governed by values that shape its posture and practice:

  • Truthfulness — clarity rooted in reality, identity, and covenant
  • Order — systems that bring stability, sustainability, and peace
  • Stewardship — honoring roles, responsibilities, and resources
  • Formation — strengthening the steward’s craft and maturity
  • Compassion — serving with patience, dignity, and relational honor

These values guide every advisory engagement and every resource produced.

Scope of Work

HearthStone provides:

  • Advisory formation for individuals, households, and ministry stewards
  • Role and responsibility mapping that clarifies expectations and boundaries
  • System and rhythm design for sustainable daily, weekly, and seasonal patterns
  • Decision pathways using the RAPTA framework
  • Stability‑building support for seasons of transition, overwhelm, or re‑alignment
  • Resource development including guides, templates, and structured tools
  • Partnership strengthening for long‑term stewardship and covenantal clarity

All work is tailored to the steward’s identity, context, and calling.

Governance and Integrity

  1. HearthStone Advisors operate as stewards of clarity, not controllers of decisions.
  2. Advisory recommendations are grounded in validated practice, discernment, and the mission of There and Back.
  3. Confidentiality, professionalism, and relational trust are upheld in every engagement.
  4. Advisors maintain clear boundaries: they provide formation and structure, not therapy, pastoral authority, or executive decision‑making.
  5. All HearthStone work remains aligned with the Initiative‑level charter and the constitutional architecture of the ecosystem.
  6. RAPTA serves as the governing workflow for evaluation, guidance, and resource development.

Commitment to Stewardship

HearthStone exists to strengthen the people who carry responsibility. It stands with stewards as a trusted companion, offering clarity, structure, and stability that:

  • Restores confidence
  • Reduces overwhelm
  • Strengthens identity
  • Supports sustainable action
  • Builds long‑term resilience

Through its advisory work and resource center, HearthStone contributes to the flourishing of members, ministries, and communities.
