There and Back eCourse Definitions

There and Back’s Fundamental eCourse (typically part of the There and Back LifeLong product) are also part of the Advisory’s HearthStone offering based on a Learning Management System (LMS), an online platform that serves as the central hub for all educational activities. The LMS provides a structured environment for:
- Course Content Delivery – Hosting and organizing instructional materials in a clear, accessible format.
- Progress Tracking – Monitoring student advancement through modules, assignments, and assessments.
- Instructor-to-Student Interaction – Facilitating communication, assignment submission, and feedback to ensure effective learning engagement.
At present, the Zenler LMS platform is utilized to support There and Back eCourses. This system enables HearthStone Advisory to provide a comprehensive, interactive, and scalable learning experience that integrates both technical functionality and educational excellence.
eCourse
eCourse is an online process in which educational learning session are offered to a student base due to access to various entry invitations, specific targeted invitation, or through group/partner agreement.
eCourse Advantages
- Flexibility – course delivery is consistent, but at agreed upon times for live sessions. For session archives, eCourse provide access to course session recordings.
- Accessibility – eCourses are accessed through online channels (internet connection). Typically, this is through a browser (recommend FireFox, Chrome or Edge).
- Formatted Material – Outside of the live sessions and class archives, course material through per-recorded lectures, and other formats (i.e. PDF) are available by request.
- Structured Course Agendas – eCourses are divided into modules and each lesson focuses on specific subjects with defined objectives.
