Advisory RAPTA Charter

Research • Analysis • Presentation • Technical • Architecture
Preamble
RAPTA is the foundational workflow engine that supports clarity, evaluation, communication, and structural development within the There and Back ecosystem.
It exists to provide a repeatable, disciplined, truth‑anchored process for understanding a situation, interpreting its meaning, communicating its findings, building its tools, and establishing its long‑term structure. RAPTA is the primary workflow engine for HearthStone and HeartLight, and a supporting workflow for LifeLong. This charter defines RAPTA’s mission, identity, structure, and governance so that its use remains consistent, aligned, and domain‑appropriate.
Mission
RAPTA exists to turn complexity into clarity and clarity into structure. Its mission is to:
- Reveal what is true
- Interpret what it means
- Communicate it clearly
- Build what is needed
- Establish what will endure
RAPTA strengthens the work of advisors, creators, and stewards by providing a structured, repeatable workflow that supports discernment, communication, and practical construction.
Identity and Role
RAPTA is a workflow engine, not a philosophy, curriculum, or identity model. It governs how work is processed, not who a person is.
Primary Domains
RAPTA is the primary workflow engine for:
- HearthStone — advisory formation, stability‑building, and structural clarity
- HeartLight — narrative development, curriculum creation, and communication design
Supporting Domain
RAPTA is a secondary, supportive workflow for:
- LifeLong — used in the Resources layer for structuring tools, guides, and systems
(RICAD remains LifeLong’s primary engine)
Excluded Domain
RAPTA is not used within:
- PathWay — which operates through its own clarity‑and‑movement engine
RAPTA’s role is domain‑specific, not universal.
1. Research — What is true?
The Five Phases of RAPTA
The discovery phase. Collects facts, context, history, patterns, and lived realities without distortion. Research establishes the raw truth.
2. Analysis — What does it mean?
The interpretation phase. Identifies themes, tensions, causes, implications, and opportunities. Analysis produces understanding and with theoretical perception, discernment.
3. Presentation — How do we say it?
The communication phase. Shapes findings into clear, accessible, audience‑appropriate language. Products of this phase result in display. Presentation ensures the truth can be received and acted upon.
4. Technical — What must be built?
The construction phase. Creates tools, diagrams, systems, templates, or resources that support the steward or domain. Technical work turns clarity into practical support. The product of technical results in definition.
5. Architecture — How does it endure?
The structural phase. Establishes long‑term frameworks, boundaries, rhythms, and relational commitments. Architecture ensures the solution lasts. This phase provides an agreed upon design.
Values
RAPTA is governed by values that shape its posture and practice:
- Truthfulness — reality before assumption
- Clarity — simplicity without loss of meaning
- Integrity — alignment between purpose and structure
- Stewardship — honoring roles, responsibilities, and resources
- Durability — building what can endure
These values guide every phase and every domain that uses RAPTA.
Scope of Use
RAPTA governs:
- Advisory formation (HearthStone)
- Narrative and curriculum development (HeartLight)
- Resource structuring (LifeLong Resources)
- Decision evaluation
- Communication design
- System and tool creation
- Structural and architectural development
RAPTA is used only where clarity, communication, and structure are required.
Governance and Integrity
- RAPTA must be applied sequentially; skipping phases weakens clarity.
- RAPTA outputs must reflect validated truth, not preference or assumption.
- RAPTA does not override identity; it supports clarity and structure.
- RAPTA must remain aligned with the Initiative‑level charter and the constitutional architecture of the ecosystem.
- RAPTA is domain‑specific; it must not be applied where it does not belong.
Commitment
RAPTA exists to strengthen the work of stewards, advisors, and creators. It ensures that every domain using it receives:
- Agreed upon understanding
- Honest evaluation
- Accessible communication
- Practical tools
- Durable structures
Through its disciplined workflow, RAPTA contributes to the flourishing of members, partners, ministries, organizations, and aligned groups.
