There and Back Initiative embraces its calling to provide ministerial assistance, a component of the Helps Ministry referenced in 1 Corinthians 12:28. Assistance is a biblically grounded form of service within the church, designed to support and strengthen the work of other ministries through practical, behind‑the‑scenes contributions. It is not merely volunteering; it is a spiritually empowered vocation marked by resilience, humility, and steadfast commitment.

Both commercial and nonprofit expressions of service recognize and support this role, though each approaches it differently in relation to product initiatives and participant acceptance. Within this framework:

  • Practical support: Setup, logistics, hospitality, administration, transportation, technology, business support, and more.
  • Service: Members operate with faith, joy, and dedication—not just convenience.
  • Extension: There and Back recognizes recommendations from partnering Church organizations or through credential training facilities.
  • Unity-building: Their work fosters cohesion and enables other ministries to flourish.
